Update/downgrade 09/2026 I am writing to share a summary of our experience following the initial installation of our HVAC system in February 2026. While the system is now working as advertised, it took seven months and constant follow-up on our end to reach this resolution. Read on if interested in the issues we experienced: - Initial Install (February 2026): The system was installed, but air constantly blew at an uncomfortably high speed. We were initially told this was normal for heat pumps. Additionally, a circuit board replacement was needed to clear an error code, and we were promised a follow-up that never occurred. - June 29 Visit: After I initiated contact in June, a technician visited to confirm the circuit board order. During this visit, he discovered the system had been incorrectly set to 2.5 tons instead of 2.0 tons. Adjusting this setting immediately resolved the high-airflow issue, four months after installation. We were told they would follow up when the new circuit board arrived. - July – August 2026: After a month of no updates, I reached out again and was told I would receive a response the following week. After three more weeks without communication, I sent a follow-up text, which went unanswered for a week. - September 3 Visit: A technician arrived to replace the circuit board. However, this installation disconnected our app and caused the entire system to shut down right before ​a warm Labor Day weekend. A promised follow-up for the next day did not happen. - September 10 Resolution: After I texted on Labor Day and called on Wednesday, a technician arrived on Thursday morning. He acknowledged a minor installation error with the circuit board and resolved the issue. The system is currently fully operational, but the prolonged delays, incorrect initial settings, and lack of promised communication made this a very frustrating seven-month process. Oiginal review 02/26: Very good customer service and communication, competitive pricing and job well done. The only complaint is perhaps on my part, not understanding a heat pump runs most of the time. So the blower will often go for an hour+. The service people were professional and helpful in explaining the system.

We had a fantastic experience with Ballard Natural Gas for our Mitsubishi heat pump installation. Tyler, our consultant, was excellent from the beginning. He helped us work through the options, put everything together, and made the entire process incredibly easy. The turnaround from quote to installation was extremely quick, and the pricing was very competitive. Humberto and Raul handled the installation, and they were outstanding. Both were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly took a lot of pride in their work. The quality of the installation is excellent and everything is clean, well thought out, and very professionally finished. They also took the time to answer our questions and left everything looking great when they were done. What impressed me most was the combination of competitive pricing, an extremely fast turnaround, and genuinely high-quality workmanship. We’re very happy with our new Mitsubishi system and with our decision to go with Ballard Natural Gas.
