Duct Cleaning

Ductless Systems

Did you know ductless systems can lower your monthly utility bills and improve your indoor air quality (IAQ)? Ducts tend to accumulate debris over time, restricting the airflow and dispersing dust in your Seattle, WA, home.

Clogged ductwork can also stress your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment—leaving you with higher operating costs and a less efficient system.

A ductless mini split does not use air ducts. Instead, it teams up an outdoor unit with an indoor air handler to provide direct comfort to every room. Ballard Natural Gas Service has a team of licensed specialists ready to help install a ductless system in your home. Give us a call today.

“Zack & Eder cleaned our ducts and did an excellent job. They are 2 of the happiest folks I’ve seen in awhile, especially while doing their job! They were so happy, they went above and beyond and cleaned our dryer duct as well!!

Then came Jay and Tony for the furnace install. Not only did everything worked the first time, their attention to details were superb. Not only were there no bubbles in the silver tape, they were all aligned! Now that’s attention to detail. Jay then repaired one last issue in my dryer duct that the cleaning crew noticed which again was above and beyond! No extra charges from either crew. They were just genuinely nice guys that wanted to fix a problem they saw, on their own time. How amazing is that to see these days? Fantastic service from both teams. And genuinely super people! Will definitely recommend to friends, neighbors and folks at work!!”

“Great team today, Zack and Eder were our Duct Cleaning guys and they were on their game! They put down drop cloths under the 10 inch pipe. Our ducts and fan blades are clean and dust free. Also, they walked us through the process and cleaned and vacuumed before they left. They were very thoughtful about our home and their work.”

“I can't say enough about the people at Ballard Natural Gas! We recently decided to replace our 34 year-old gas furnace and water heater with an electric heat pump system and water heater. We received proposals from four different companies. I chose Ballard Natural Gas because Joe, our Design Consultant, was able to clearly explain why he proposed the sizing and components that he did. I was comfortable with his explanations, and the finished product proves that he was right. Within hours of agreeing to the contract, Zoe called to schedule the planning visit, duct cleaning, and installation events. Zoe helpfully explained everything that would happen, and offered her number to call if I had any questions. Two days later, our project manager Quentin and Joe came to take detailed measurements, take pictures, and spec out the job for the crew that would do the installation. The same day, the team of Zack and Eder overcame technical difficulties with their truck to make it on schedule to our duct cleaning appointment. Two guys having a bad day, but you wouldn't have known it! They were cheerful, and immediately set about expertly cleaning our ducts. They were efficient and respectful of our home and left not a trace behind. They asked a service technician, Conrad, to drop by (on a moment's notice) to insure that everything was back up and running properly before they left. No problem! Two days later, Kevin and Alex were here to install the heal pump, air handler, duct modifications, etc., and Aaron to do the not-insignificant electrical wiring. By mid afternoon, they had the gas furnace out and the electrical wiring/conduit, heat pump, air handler, duct work, and all of the associated tubing and accessories installed and up and running. Astonishing! Kevin came back the next day and replaced the gas water heater with the new electric one, and the job was complete. All of their work was done both expertly from a mechanical/technical point of view, but also they were aesthetically meticulous – it looks great! I have also had several pleasant and reassuring interactions with Amy regarding contract and billing details. Besides being professional and proficient at their jobs, these are just, to a person, some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to work with. They really seem to like their jobs and each other. To the management team at Ballard Natural Gas – I don't know what your hiring strategy is, but you've really hit on something. I will look forward to each interaction I have with someone from your team. Oh yeah, after a week, we love our new Mitsubishi system! The heat is much more stable (fluctuates less) than with our gas furnace. The system is so quiet as to be inaudible in the entire house except the room in which the air handler is located, and there it is still much more quiet than the gas furnace. The heat pump, which sits outside is also surprisingly quiet. We're looking forward to experiencing whole-house cooling this summer, and curious to see the net impact on our energy bills. And we're thrilled to be new customers of Ballard Natural Gas!”

“Wowww! Ballard Natural Gas went way above and beyond today! Nicole Seth the service manager and Chris Damron, the service technician, pulled out ALL the stops to order and pick up the part we needed. They then worked the repair into their busy schedule to get our furnace up and running before the weekend!! Thank you Nicole and Chris!”

- Sheldon S.

“Humberto and Kevin and Jimmy B. did a quick, quiet install of our heat pump, and careful explanation of the new thermostat. Follow-up surge protector installation went quickly (sorry, can't remember the name of the very friendly installer). Ballard Natural Gas also installed a new electric water heater and removed the old heater and the old furnace, cleaning up afterwards. Couldn't be happier. Almost forgot to mention office staff, Zoe and Ashley (?) who were wonderful about scheduling and bill-paying!”

- Helen M.

“Matt is a great tech person. Always on time and very good at finding the source of issues and explains to use in detail what is going on . And always patience in finding ways to hear our concerns. You guys are lucky to have him.”

- Robert O.

“Our annual home maintenance on split system heat pump. We couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Austin Mack did a fantastic job. His professionalism, attention to detail, and experience were impressive. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure the system was running perfectly before he left. Highly recommend Ballard Natural Gas. We should know as we’ve been a customer for some 20 years +/-“
