“I'm writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Ballard Natural Gas Service. My recent experience with them was unprofessional, stressful, and involved a broken promise.

Here's a breakdown of the problems I encountered:
• Unreliable Communication: Reaching customer service was a struggle My calls were unanswered and were screened because I expressed my dissatisfaction. The representative became frustrated, gave me attitude, and hung up the call because I asked to speak to the service manager.
• Deceptive Pricing: I initially contacted Ballard Natural Gas after receiving a quote from AirGanic. When I explained the situation, a Ballard sales representative assured me they would match AirGanic's price for the service. However, they quickly said no because it would be out of their price range. Ballard reneged on their promise to match the quote. The final bill was significantly higher than AirGanic without the customer service and peace of mind that we were promised.
• Quality of Service: In addition to taking two days off for installation, and no final walk-through, I had to take four additional days for the service tech to diagnose the issue of non-working equipment. They later did not take responsibility for not determining that the pump needed to be hardwired rather than plugged into an outlet since a switch controlled it (I had no previous knowledge of the ins and outs of installation). This simple concern should’ve been diagnosed by the salesperson, or project manager, or four times a technician came out to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the service itself left much to be desired. They also failed to indicate that an air duct should have been replaced to reach the unit comfortably and without issue, so they decided to quote another price.

Overall, this experience with Ballard Natural Gas Service was a huge disappointment. Their lack of communication, scheduling issues, and quality of service left me feeling frustrated. They wasted my time and misled me about the pricing and superior customer service. I would recommend you research other companies before arriving at a decision.”
